Be it a trekking experience on the mountains among the Leleg road or visiting 8000 year old rock paintings in the region, IBEX offers the best tours for even the local people who thought they knew everything about the region. I walked with Deniz Kilic, the director of Ibex Adventure Club, across hundreds of kilometers of summertime Anatolia.He was my guide, interpreter, logistician, morale officer, and designated storyteller. My understanding of the backcountry villages of Turkey, and my appreciation for the immensely deep culture of that beautiful corner of the planet, I owe to Deniz.Cheerful, enterprising, tough, funny, utterly responsible--Deniz is the perfect partner in any adventure, small or large, that you may be planning. I recommend him highly.
