Spinal Cord Tumor was diagnosed and I was looking for a doctor. Normally I live in London and I was in Istanbul at that time. The field of Brain and Nerve Surgery is very wide. The subject of this tumor is a very sensitive, it requires very good experiance. I met with 3 experienced doctors, but I was looking for a doctor who experianced in tumors and spinal cord. I could not find anyone who specializes in this field in Istanbul. Prof. Dr. Suat Canbay has 16 years of Oncology hospital experience, so this meant that I found the right doctor. After a 4-5 hour microsurgical operation, the entire part was removed and no damage was observed at my body. I watched the surgery video, it was incredibly clean work, a very good team (we especially thank the surgery nurse Bahittin, he is a very special talent), the latest technologies such as a neuromonitor have been used, without removing the spine, without destroying the existing skeleton, just with 1.5 cm cut they had done all this surgery successfully.
