Stumbled into Eleni Vintage in Galta. It was the best accident that happened during my time in Istanbul. Not only is it an incredible shop filled with pieces each having such an incredible history and stories, but the people who work here, including Eleni and Mahmut who I had the opportunity to meet, are some of the kindest and most hospitable people! I got an incredible vintage 1930's Prada bag, another 1950's bag and a leather jacket, and my friends and I were invited to spend the evening with Eleni and friends for Turkish Republic Day. So excited to plan my next trip to Istanbul in the future and visit Eleni's shop!

With the mystical backdrop of Galata Tower you step down into an alluring, petite shop. A consummate of vintage charm fills the space with smells and textures of times gone by. Imagine the presence of souls that owned these items, enticing you to try on a garment. Alchemy of transmuting previously loved items into vogue. Mahmut is entrancing and alluring with his courteous conduct and Eleni's presence is like art...the perfect finish to a vintage meander.

Her gün önünden geçiyorum, bazen vitrinde eski Alman, Fransız filmlerinden fırlamış, örneğin hardal renkli mantolar ispanyol paça genç kız pantolonları havai gömlekler en güzel torlarıla kırmızılı aksesuarlar görüyorum. Meraklısı illaki vardır, fiyatları konusunda bilgim yok. Günün birinde Eleni Vintage'nin fiyatlarını burada yayınlacağım
