Tarihi Karatas Hosgor Hamami

Loved the time I spent in this bath!I was looking for a Turkish local hammam in Izmir, and after searching it online, found this one in TripAdvisor.The staff is nice, some people could speak a little bit of English, but in general they all just speak Turkish, but no problem with communication.The building is more than a hundred years old, the ceiling is absolutely beautiful.First of all I went to a small room, sauna itself, to get warm, then I lay down on a marble slab and my body got rubbed, I could literally see pieces of my skin taking off, I got a nice massage after all and got an extra coffee scrub all over my body.Excellent experience for such an affordable price! I payed only 100 TL for everything and spent around 1,5 hours there.This hammam open for men from 7:00 to 11:00 and also after 17:00. Open for women from 11:00 to 17:00.Totally recommend it!
