İSTANBUL AIRPORT MUSEUM

I have been to this airport museum twice, which says something about it. It has many original pieces and covers the history of the region with a special focus on some of the prehistoric artifacts, but it also does great work with some of the Islamic art the hair shirt is memorable to me– – never fails to astound. It does seem a bit pricey, but if you want to spend an hour in a museum in an airport with really high quality exhibit, this is the place for you. Also, there is nobody there so you can have the place pretty much to yourself one suggestion if anybody from the museum is reading this – – they have a rotating display of four beautiful pieces that appear and disappear at 30 second intervals or so this is doing a disservice to the pieces, it would be much nicer to see each one displayed on its own!

Hätte ich mir gerne angeguckt, aber bei unglaublichen 13 € Eintritt kann ich auch herzlich gerne darauf verzichten. Ich habe noch nirgends in der Türkei so viel Geld für ein Museum zahlen müssen. Hier versucht man bloß den international Reisenden das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen.

Havaalanına müze yapıp turist söğüşlemek hangi salağın aklına geldiyse onun kafasını s.kmek lazım.

Dış hatlar ikinci katta yer alıyor. Türkiye'nin çeşitli muzelerinden getirtilmiş seçme eserler var. Müze kartınız var ise ücretsiz giriş yapabilirsiniz. Havalimanindan bir anda baska bir atmosferde buluyorsunuz kendinizi. Keske uçuşa biraz daha zamanım olsaydı biraz daha vakit geçirmek isterdim. Tek kelimeyle bayıldım

Bu kadar saçma bir yere havaalanı yapınca tabi oteli de hemen yanına dikiyorlar...

Such an incredible use of space and time for an airport. At 5 Euros for a ticket plus I think another 9 Euros for the audio guide, this museum is fantastic.It is the world's largest airport museum and doesn't disappoint. There were some missing pieces in the space, but the audio guide is extremely detailed and helps you pace properly. This turns a potentially short visit into a much longer one, thus providing you so much more joy than a regular airport layover. It takes you through a lot of the history in the form of a brief overview. It also made me want to visit the actual city even more to see the full museum.

Did not have the opportunity to see artefacts that were taken from sights we visited and paid full price to see, To be told by this museum that we have to pay 13 euro to enter because the museum pass card is not accepted here!! Unacceptable!! After all the money we spent in Turkiye, this should be a free excursion!!
