.....as this was a tour arranged by Turkish Airlines we were met at the airport by our guide and taken by bus to our various destinations which was most-lii in the Fatih area! Our first stop was to the Mihmandar Et Lokanta a fine dine restaurant for a three course lunch, which also happens to be in the same square which is also home to the Eyup Sultan Mosque! Lunch was insidious-lii delicious been a real traditional Turkish cuisine! We then got an hour of free time to wonder the streets here as there are loads of different shops, food stalls, restaurants, clothing and delicatessens, etc, etc. The Eyup Mosque is true-lii an amazing building to explore, the atmosphere was tourist-ii but also very solemn as a place of worship and there just happened to be two funerals taking place! Its incredible to see the trees reported to have been planted here on this very sight by a friend of the Prophet Mohamed! we than got to drive to the Phanar area to visit the very Old Private Greek School established in 1454 and the building was rebuilt in the 1800's! Wow the steep inclining cobbled roads are real-lii something to witness and to walk up them is real-lii an experience of its own! What was also nice was to see the local children making the most of the audience(tourist) to board-surf down the roads! We then got to go to the other side of town to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate what an awesome well preserved establishment, the inside of this church was was incredible to witness the sheer beaut-ii all the golden ornaments and decorations Wow! We got to drive to the Golden Horn, the Blue Mosque but was unable to disembark from the bus as the Traffic and No Parking around here in the of Istanbul Traffic through-out was Nightmarish! Overall although us been very tired we thorough-lii enjoyed ourselves and the guide was very knowledgeable about the facts in and around the places we passed and wherever he took us! We do recommend this company Istanbul Walks"......10 out of 10!!!........."

I've joined their Istanbul tour twice, organised by Turkish Airlines.We visited the main attractions of Golden Horn peninsula. Absolutely satisfied with them.It's mainly an outdoor walking tour so wear suitable shoes and clothing.We had breakfast and lunch in Tamara restaurant.

We reserved a coffee tour but because they couldn’t get another couple of people to join, they canceled. They tried their best, sure, but I guess they didn’t feel it worthwhile to give a tour of its just two people.

Did the half day Istanbul City tour for Turkish Airlines customers 9:00-15:00.We visited the Hippodrome, Hagya Sofia and the Topkapi Palace.Our tour guide Emre was amazing.Very well spoken and passionate about the Turkish history.I really enjoyed every minute and recommend him to anyone!

My friend and I used Istanbul Walks for a half day morning boat tour on 19 October 2015. The tour included pick-up at hotel and a tour of the Spice Market and Mosque. The boat tour included 2 hours of sightseeing on the Bosphorus Strait. Our guide, İlker Akın, was personable, friendly, informative and fun. İlker shared insights and knowledge that enhanced our overall experience of visiting Istanbul and helped us gain a greater appreciation of Istanbul, it's people and culture. İlker spoke English perfectly and we felt safe during his tour.

We had a wonderful time on the full day Istanbul Classics tour. Our guide, Doğuş, was very knowledgeable and so friendly, she really made the day special. The lunch was lovely. I couldn't think of a better way to see so much of the beautiful Istanbul in one day.
