Improving of breeding lines quality by determining and evaluating quality characteristics of breeding materials such as wheat, durum, malting barley, forage barley and food legumesQuality researches are carried out and projects are conducted to determine the effects of agronomic traits on quality. Quality analyzes of candidate varieties and evaluations are done, and results are reported to Variety Registration and Seed Certification Center.The breeding material of the IWWIP project, co-operated by TÜRKIYE /CIMMYT/ ICARDA, is evaluated.Serving to breeding institution/organisation, universities and private sectors working on cereals and food legumes.Calibration equations are developed for use in NIR / NIT spectroscopy devices which are rapid analysis methods.National and international level training programs to share capacity and transfer experiences.
