Great hostel if not the cheapest. Located in the very touristy area of Sultanahmet, the hostel is perfectly safe and easy so reach. We stayed in a private double room with ensuite bath which was absolutely fine. Staff is friendly and there is a shuttle from and to both airports. Breakfast is very simple but on a great rooftop terasse. Only downside: if you want to experience the real Istanbul (around Galata or Taksim) you have to either walk for a while or take the tram.
