THE WORST SALOON EVER. I came in for a blowdry, the hairdresser offered me a little trim because my hair was « too damaged » i agreed and thanked him. Then when I went to the cashier the total was 150 TL (80 TL for trim and 70 TL for blowdry). When I asked the hairdresser about this calamity, he said my hair was « too thick » and mind you my hair is shoulder length while 4 days ago I had a muuch better blowdry and wash for 60 TL in a veryy renowed salon (I couldnt go there again because I changed locations and this salon was the closest to me). I never write bad reviews because I know that families rely on them for income but not this time. IT IS AN UNECESSARY WASTE OF MONEY DONT GOO. I BEG OF YOU. They think that tourists are people who come with a lot of money to just throw everywhere while this little scam that they pulled on me will cost me meals since I am a student and travelling on a budget. i love turkey but this kinda stunts I really cannot tolerate. Shame on you people.

Hi guys I've been staying near taksim sqaure (10days altogether)I wanted to get my beard shaped up n trimmed.I googled reviews of best places near by and this place I choose.I went passed the salon 3 or 4 times to just get a idea on place. One friendly staff member saw me and asked me to come in.I explained I only wanted a price but will come during the week.There was lovely brunette lady there and very friendly and helped me translate my requirements to the staff and I showed a pic of what I wanted incase language was and issue.I was told 150 lira at first, then went down to 80 lira but I said it's just a trim nothing from my head... so he said ok 60 lira.I told him I'll be back possibly Sunday.All was well in my mind...Unfortunately Sunday the weather was so bad so didn't go until Monday midday.It was another staff member and explained the what I wanted, showed a pic of design and at the time which lady that helped and the price the barber agreed.He said No way 200lira minimum!"I was really shocked in his manner and even though I've explained and showed him respect.I politely said I've come in before and agreed a price so why such a difference?He just started speaking rudely in Turkish and I wasn't having it so decided to leave.He tried calling me back with lower prices but at this point even if he offered it for free I wasn't interested.I just don't get it.
