They speak limited English, but are willing to use Google translate. There was some natural miscommunication, but overall the experience was good. The car was clean, worked fine, and was convenient to travel around Istanbul and Turkey and the employees were helpful.We rented a car for 3 days - Wednesday morning to Saturday morning - but for some reason, they messaged me on Friday asking for the car. After I explained how we paid for three days, they agreed and we brought it in Saturday. I think whoever wrote on the reservation wrote the wrong date and they were going by that, because when we returned the car, I saw someone had corrected the date.I think they could do with a physical contract agreement available in several languages instead of explaining things verbally because things can get lost in translation. For example, when we asked about paying tolls, they told us we'd just pay at the tolls. Although we went through tolls, we didnt pay at those times. When we returned the car, they told us that the company was charged for tolls and they charged us at the end. No problem, but it would have helped to know that right away.Additionally, they did explain this to us, but I'll put it here in case it helps and is more clear because it took a while to understand:1. You'll pay a security deposit via card. 20 days after returning the car, should everything be fine, you'll get the deposit back.2. We paid 700 TL per day, cash only. We wanted to use our card because we get auto insurance through it, but they didn't accept it.3. If you exceed 250 km/day, they'll charge you 2 TL for every extra km. As I understand it, they'll take it from your deposit.4. Gas has to be returned with the same amount as you got it. We pretty much left it at 3/4 full. I personally would appreciate if they compensated for that, but I understand some car rentals don't do that.5. Make sure to take pictures of the car before they finish handing it off to you. They'll do their own check, write on a piece of paper where the damages are and the guy doing it is friendly and nice, but it's just a good backup because they don't take photos.So yeah. Overall good experience. I think a contract agreement would be beneficial.
